Kali
From International Nath Order
(Redirected from Kālī)
Kali is a Goddess whose name means black or dark. The Dark Goddess is widely recognised as a member of the Indian pantheon and identified in the fifth to sixth century text, Devi Mahatmyam. The text describes that Kali sprang from Durga’s brow to battle the asuras. Kali symbolizes dissolution and destruction. She destroys the mind-born delusions (demons) that separate us from the Divine.
